To ensure a successful please check your site for the following minimum clearances:
- Width: Minimum 2.8 metres clearance for the truck to navigate through gates or narrow driveways.
- Height: Up to 4 metres (5 metres for hook truck) of overhead clearance may be required when the hydraulic arms are extended to drop off or retrieve the bin. Ensure there are no low-hanging power lines, tree branches, or carports in the placement area.
To minimise the risk of scratching or cracking your driveway, especially sensitive surfaces like block paving, we highly recommend you place thick timber planks or sturdy plywood boards on the ground where the skip’s base will rest. This protects your property by preventing direct metal-on-pavement contact. Saunders Waste is not liable for any damage if a customer requests a skip bin to be dropped on the driveway.
Our refund policy is based on the notice period, as logistical and administrative costs are incurred immediately upon booking.
- Policy: Cancellations made with substantial notice typically qualify for a full refund minus a small merchant fee. Shorter notice periods (e.g., on the day) incur escalating cancellation fees to cover costs incurred.
- Post-Delivery: If you cancel after the bin has been delivered, the refund amount will be heavily conditional based on the costs already incurred
Volume does not equal weight. Heavy materials (concrete, soil, rock) are far denser than general waste.
- Heavy Waste Rule: If your project involves dense materials, add the soil levy under additional items when processing your order online.
The most frequent additional charge is the overweight charge, which occurs when the weight of the material in the skip bin exceeds the maximum weight allowance specified for that size and waste type. This is especially common when customers fill a bin intended for light waste with heavy materials like soil or concrete.
